CP Foods’ subsidiary, Homegrown Shrimp USA, has signed an agreement with American Mariculture (AMI) to distribute Homegrown’s selected shrimp. Starting in just a few weeks, AMI will be shipping HomeGrown's Turbo and Kong broodstock lines to select markets around the world.
Shrimp will be marketed by American Broodstock Corp., a subsidiary of AMI, and will be shipped from its facilities in Florida.
“For years, AMI has been focusing on survival over growth and while we will continue to offer our normal high surviving stocks, we can offer these highly sought after fast-growing stocks to farmers who can give these high-performance animals the right conditions,” said Robin Pearl, CEO of American Mariculture.
