Genetics services provider, the Center for Aquaculture Technologies (CAT), has added Matt Cerezo, business development manager for genetics, to its team to ensure the company continues to deliver exceptional client experience during a period of growth. This strategic addition to CAT's business development team strengthens their in-house expertise and enhances client engagement capacity, solidifying their commitment to fostering client success.
Cerezo has spent the last decade with Illumina, working to connect agricultural clients with genomic technology to help them achieve their goals. Before venturing into the field of genomics, he spent five years in human health biotechnology sales.
“I am very pleased to have Matt joining the business development team at CAT. He is an accomplished agrigenomics sales professional, with over a decade of experience in that market. His professionalism and expertise in the agriculture sector mean he is poised for success in supporting our mission to help clients in the aquaculture industry achieve long-term success through the customized application of our world-class catalog of genomic and genetic tools and services,” said Debbie Plouffe, associate vice president of business development at CAT.
“I am excited to join the highly skilled and talented team at CAT and look forward to working with the aquaculture industry to provide solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability across the globe,” said Cerezo.
With this strategic move, the Center for Aquaculture Technologies is poised to deliver even greater value, forge enduring partnerships, and empower clients to achieve their goals while unlocking new opportunities for success.
