The 5th edition of the Italian aquaculture event AquaFarm, which will take place from February 16-17, 2022, at Pordenone Fiere, launched an aquaculture innovation contest to reward projects, products and services from all over the world. 

All participants of the AquaFarm Contest will be able to exhibit a poster of the project at the fair. The three winners will pitch their research or innovation in front of the event audience and will receive a cash prize to support their project. The jury will be made up of technology experts as well as representatives of producer associations who are the most interested in adopting the innovations presented.

The event will also host the first edition of AlgaeFarm, a space focused on the algae industry with lectures and exhibition space.
