Sensorex Inc. celebrated the 5th anniversary of the opening of its European facility Sensorex SRO in the Czech Republic. The České Budějovice site acts both as a manufacturing center of excellence as well as a distribution hub for its rapidly growing European business. In addition, it has strengthened Sensorex's connections with European customers, enhancing its customer-focused product development approach and rapid customization capabilities.

Sensorex manufactures a broad portfolio of water quality sensors including technologies for pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, free chlorine, and UVT. These sensors perform critical measurements in areas ranging from environmental monitoring, waste treatment, and pharmaceutical/vaccine research development. 

Global operations director, Jiri Reinis, said that “people are really surprised to know that such a company exists in České Budějovice. Our products truly are helping make the world cleaner and safer.” 

The site has seen tremendous growth since its founding, according to the company. In each of the past three years, employment has grown on average by 60%. Plans for expansion are underway, with a second building opening in June of this year. “The added space will increase our footprint by 30%, providing increased capacity and improved workflows,” said Reinis.
