Pure Salmon Technology acquired all intellectual property (IP) assets of Billund Aquaculture Denmark. Additionally, Pure Salmon Technology has secured the exclusive rights to purchase Billund Aquaculture Australia and Billund Aquaculture Chile, a major step forward in expanding its footprint in the global aquaculture industry.
This strategic acquisition of Billund Aquaculture Denmark’s IP portfolio is expected to bolster Pure Salmon Technology’s RAS technology offerings and provide new growth opportunities for the group. The addition of these assets will enhance Pure Salmon Technology’s capabilities to deliver innovative, sustainable aquaculture solutions and strengthen its competitive advantage in key markets worldwide.
By integrating Billund Aquaculture Denmark’s IP, Pure Salmon Technology will be better positioned to address the increasing demand for efficient, scalable RAS systems and meet the evolving needs of its clients across the globe.
Pure Salmon Technology has already hired several ex-Billund employees in the past few years and will hire more as part of the transition and implementation of these intellectual property assets. Pure Salmon Technology has acquired the technical documentation of the full Billund install base, making it possible for Pure Salmon Technology to service all of Billund’s previous customers.
Furthermore, adding Billund’s market-leading Fixed Bed technology as well as their other unique and proprietary components and solutions will give Pure Salmon Technology the broadest technology portfolio in the industry.
