Haf Investments, an Icelandic private equity fund specializing in the seafood sector, acquired NP Innovation, an international developer and producer of water treatment products for aquaculture. The purchase is made subject to the approval of the Competition Authority in Iceland.
The acquisition strengthens Haf’s portfolio and aligns with its strategy to drive growth in sustainable aquaculture. With Haf as the new majority owner, NP will accelerate its expansion as a leading provider of water treatment solutions, with a particular emphasis on aquaculture. The company plans to expand its product portfolio, continue delivering cutting-edge solutions to customers, and support the global growth of land-based aquaculture. NP’s future growth will be driven both organically and through strategic acquisitions in existing and new markets worldwide.
