German system designer, WATER – proved, appointed David Märkl-Bilger as managing partner and CEO. David will be responsible for all commercial activities of WATER - proved, particularly leading sales and procurement as well as key account management and finance department.
With 15 years of experience in the aquaculture industry, several years as operations manager for different salmonid and sturgeon farms in Central Europe as well as more than five years as project manager at WATER - proved, David adds lots of experience to the managing team and board of shareholders.
“With a strong passion for aquaculture, his proven track record and his customer-oriented mindset, David will contribute to the long-term success of the facilities and farms built and consulted by WATER – proved,” the company said.
Founded in 2011 by Alexander Rose, WATER - proved is an engineering and supplying partner for aquaculture that designs and sets up complete systems (RAS and flow-trough) and tailormade or individually adapted key components for aquaculture like drum filters, UV-disinfection, biofiltration (moving bed and fixed bed nitrification, denitrification) and monitoring and control units.
