Genics, a global leader in early pathogen detection and shrimp health management with clients in 32 nations, has expanded its value proposition to include consulting. Known for its success in the very early detection of pathogens in shrimp through its flagship offering Shrimp MultiPath™, Genics has opened a broad range of other services to all clients through their Genics360 Consulting model that, until now, has been only available to a select few companies upon request.
Genics360 services include commercial validation, health planning, veterinary and RAS. A very exciting addition is the open availability and access to the Genics R&D team. Typically, the team works on the development of internal projects only. However, recently the team has expanded and is working with customers outside Genics to realize growing commercial demand and opportunities in a variety of emergent shrimp markets.
“This is a very exciting time for us,” said Genics CEO and founder, Melony Sellars. “We’ve had many requests for bespoke and specialized projects over the years, and now we’ve got our team in place to deliver to market”. Genics’ director of marketing and communications, Chris Eccleston added that “Genics360’s value is that it offers clients of any size access to their own R&D team, their own disease investigation team, their own RAS team and so on. We’re a single-stop solution where farmers and producers can work with us on all aspects of their shrimp health business – we made it easy and simple.”
