Vietnam has recently signed the 2020 - 2030 Organic Agriculture Development Project to adopt advanced organic agriculture production, according to local news. The project aims at increasing organic aquaculture up to 0.5-1.5% of total aquaculture production and improving the efficiency of organic production with a product value per hectare of organic cultivation and aquaculture land 1.3-1.5 times higher than that of non-organic production.
The project will focus on developing concentrated organic agricultural production regions, diversifying forms of organic production, intensifying technology application, developing certification organizations and increasing the processing, consumption and export of organic products.
