Skretting welcomes Maarten Bijl as its new CEO. He succeeds Bastiaan van Tilburg, who will also be taking on a new role as CEO at parent company Nutreco.
Maarten joined Nutreco in 2021 as managing director for Trouw Nutrition North America. Since June 2024, he has been Nutreco’s chief digital officer and a member of the Management Board. During this time, he led a digital transformation across the Nutreco organization, developing a digitally enabled business model to accelerate growth within Skretting and Trouw Nutrition. He also worked closely with the Skretting and Trouw Nutrition digital innovation teams to meet customer needs by successfully applying new technology and data insights.

Prior to joining Nutreco, Maarten spent 12 years with its parent company SHV, in different strategy, commercial management, and regional general management roles in Europe and Asia. He has also held global commercial and corporate strategy roles in TNT NV (now FedEx).
