Genics appointed Wendy Moscoso as aquaculture consultant Genics Ecuador. Moscoso is well-known in the industry being extremely well regarded in the Ecuadorian shrimp industry. Her knowledge of pathogens and breeding programs will greatly assist Genics’ clients in Ecuador in meeting their production goals.

Genics delivers Shrimp MultiPath, a test that detects 13 commercially significant shrimp diseases, including white spot syndrome. The company recently incorporated the Decapod iridescent virus (DIV-1) that is now causing high mortalities in shrimp production and economic losses in many regions of the world.
