Mark Plampin will step down from his current role of Chief Financial Officer. After nine years in the role of Chief Financial Officer, during which time Mark has been an integral part of the team which led the Group through its Admission to AIM and the acquisitive and organic growth that followed.

The company has commenced an external search for a successor and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Mark Plampin, said that "it has been a privilege to have served as Chief Financial Officer at Benchmark for almost a decade. I am proud of the significant milestones achieved during my time at Benchmark. We now have a focused pipeline of products and the infrastructure in place to support the Group's sustainable growth. I have enjoyed being part of a strong team at Benchmark and I look forward to working with my successor to ensure a smooth handover."

The company has also been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2019. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses, with companies representing over 40 sectors and spanning every country and region across the UK.

To be selected for the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the last three years but also outperform their sector peers. The result is a unique and varied list of the UK’s most dynamic companies.
