Kvidul AS partnered with AquaMaof Aquaculture Technologies to establish a long-term business relationship for RAS farm. AquaMaof has agreed to support Kvidul with financing by becoming a strategic co-owner of Kvidul AS, with certain reservations.

AquaMaof will deliver its RAS technology for an annual salmon production of up to 20,000 tons in Brennholmen, in Åfjord municipality. The farm will be built in two phases, each with up to 10,000 tons of annual production. In the first phase, a plant with an annual capacity of ten million smolts will also be delivered.

AquaMaof will also contribute with its operating experience and extensive support for a certain period after delivery of the facility, to ensure the right operation of the equipment, technology and staff.

“We aim to acquire additional facilities from AquaMaof following Kvidul's development plan. In addition, AquaMaof and Kvidul Aqua also signed a collaboration agreement, linked to the Green Value Chain developed by Kvidul AS,” the company said.
