World Aquaculture 2020, scheduled for December 2020 in Singapore, was postponed to June 14-18, 2021. The venue will remain at Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“Despite the improvements in the COVID-19 situation in Singapore, some uncertainty still remains in the near term, where large events are concerned. The primary objective of safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all participants, exhibitors, staff, speakers and third parties is of utmost importance to us,” the organization said. By postponing the event, the organization hopes that it will give more people the opportunity to be part of this conference.

A free webinar for WA2020 participants will be held from December 14-16, 2020 on important aquaculture topics. Details will be available soon.

Current registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date. The abstract deadline submission has been extended until February 3, 2021.

“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and patience. We look forward to working together to ensure that WA2020 will be successful and to seeing you all in Singapore,” the organization said.
