Hatchery Feed & Management invites you to join our FREE webinar, Innovations in Hatchery Feeds, on May 11 at 15 pm CET. Register HERE.
About the webinar
Aquaculture hatcheries traditionally rely on rotifer and Artemia as live feeds for the early larval stages. But technology is evolving and has allowed the industrial production of other live feeds species that can contribute to improved performances in fish and shrimp larvae cultures.
CFEED and Planktonic are two of the recent disruptors in live feeds, developing research-driven and nutritionally complete live feeds. Both companies have added new options to the live feeds basket case for increased quality and profitability.
In terms of dry feeds, aquafeed manufacturing techniques have also evolved to produce smaller feeds that are allowing hatchery managers to co-feed larvae at earlier stages.
