The 6th Symposium of Genomics in Aquaculture (GIA2020) will be held from April 22 – 24, 2020 in Granada, Spain. The event aims to be a platform to transmit the advances in genomics to aquaculture.
The development of new techniques of massive sequencing, data analysis through new bioinformatic tools and the great information available have facilitated access to genomic studies to a large number of researchers. Also, in recent years, new approaches have appeared in this discipline such as epigenomics, metagenomics or gene editing, which have opened new horizons in this field. The symposium will focus on the application of these techniques in nutrition and growth, stress and immune response, reproduction and breeding, environmental impact and population genetics, and microbiota and hologenomics.
Deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2020 and early bird registration deadline is December 31. More information and registration here.
