Aquaculture events organized by the European Aquaculture Society and the World Aquaculture Society have been updated as well as new dates have been unveiled. 

Aquaculture Europe 2022

Aquaculture Europe 2022 (AE2022) will take place in Rimini, Italy from September 27-30, 2022 and will host parallel sessions that will cover the full scope of European aquaculture scientific disciplines and species and will comprise submitted oral and poster presentations. AE2022 will also feature an international trade exhibition, industry forum, student sessions and activities, satellite workshops and updates on EU research.

World Aquaculture Singapore 2022

World Aquaculture Singapore 2022 (WASingapore2022) will take place in Singapore from November 29 to December 2, 2022. The event is Asia’s leading international conference and an exhibition on aquaculture. Over 250 exhibitors have already signed up in a strong show of confidence and support for the event and the industry. Registration for the conference remains open with early bird categories still available. The deadline for abstract submission and call for papers has been extended to September 15, 2022.

Aquaculture America 2023

Aquaculture America 2023 will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA from February 23-26, 2023. The conference will feature the largest aquaculture trade show in the Western hemisphere and record-breaking attendee numbers for the largest national aquaculture conference and exposition since COVID-19. Over 50 general sessions and 10 special sessions are currently planned under the conference motto Food for the Future. In addition, the conference will feature a keynote address by science communication innovator ‘Inspector Planet’ (aka Dr. Tracy Fanara, NOAA), a major industry exposition/trade show, a president’s reception, field trips, a poster show, the popular live auction, entertainment, excellent local cuisine, and many annual meetings of national associations with stakes in marine and freshwater aquaculture.

Abstract submission is now open. Students are particularly encouraged to submit an abstract and participate in the many student-centered activities and networking opportunities at the conference.

Latin America & Caribbean Aquaculture 2023

Latin America & Caribbean Aquaculture 2023 (LACQUA23) will take place in panama from April 18-21, 2023. It will be the 2023 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of WAS.

World Aquaculture 2023

World Aquaculture 2023 (WA2023) will take place in Darwin, Northern Territories, Australia from May 29 to June 1, 2023. This annual event will incorporate the Australasian aquaculture industry and will see several thousand attendees from around the world converge on the city of Darwin.

Contributions to developing new and existing ideas to stimulate this vital industry are welcome. WA2023 will be an opportunity for the international aquaculture community, academics, industry researchers, market and industry analysts, government officials, policymakers and industry representatives to present their work and exchange ideas and develop a vision for the future of the aquaculture industry as we focus on the theme of Supporting Strength in Aquaculture.
