Particle removal is the most important factor for achieving good water quality in RAS systems. Particles mostly consist of uneaten feed and fish feces and these components must be removed from the water before it can be recycled back to the fish. If not, they will dissolve, affect water quality and fish farming environment, and reduce the fish's performance.
