The Steering Committee of Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2024 and World Aquaculture Society is inviting all international aquaculture experts from the industry, academia and governments to participate in Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2024 (APA2024).

APA2024 will be held at the Grand City Hall Convention and Exhibition Center in Surabaya, Indonesia from July 2-5, 2024. The organization expects over a thousand participants from the Asian Pacific region and around the world.

The deadline for submission of papers for presentations at APA24 was extended to February 29, 2024. Asian Pacific Aquaculture 2024 will offer a program to learn more about Indonesia’s aquaculture.

Those residing or living in Asian Pacific countries qualify for a special discounted registration rate for the full conference at APA24. To receive this special rate, candidates must reside in an Asian Pacific country. Students must be full-time college or university students and provide a copy of their student ID upon request. Student Travel Award

The number of WAS-APC members has been increasing in the past few years at a fast rate and the Award Committee of the WAS-APC is taking the task of picking up young talents with great enthusiasm. All students submitting an abstract and presenting a poster or an oral presentation will be evaluated. Applications close on February 29, 2024. The three categories for awards are:

• Pre-conference Student Travel Awards – Best three abstract awards (judged on abstract) for a price of USD 400 each
• Presentation (2) and Poster (2) awards for Students (judged during the conference) with USD 600 and USD 400
• Travel Award for Women’s Participation with USD 600 for 2 women.
