The 2nd Annual International Conference & Exposition of the African Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society (AFRAQ2023) will take place from November 13-16 in Zambia, one of the fastest-growing aquaculture producer countries in Africa.
Thousands of delegates from around the world are expected to converge in the bustling and glittering capital city, Lusaka, to celebrate achievements in all aspects of aquaculture development in Africa, but also find solutions to some of the challenges hampering the growth of the sector and explore new opportunities.
A program combining a trade show, research papers, industry reports, specialist workshops, and field visits showcasing the Zambian aquaculture industry is planned. The theme of the symposium is Resilient Value Chains in the Blue Economy reflecting the exciting growth of aquaculture in Africa.
Deadline for abstract submission has been extended to October 15. These include academic research papers, industry reports, policy papers and contributions which promote African aquaculture development.
