AlgaEurope 2021, with funding from the European Commission, unveiled the European Union - Young Algaeneers Innovation Award. The award is open to all young “algaeneers” working within companies, research institutes and other organizations involved in the algae industry. 

The European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) introduced the Young Algaeneers Corner during last year’s AlgaEurope edition. The objective is to stimulate young professionals working in the algae sector to share their knowledge, innovative new ideas and, above all, connect enabling the young algae community to develop the sector further and create synergies in the field of research and development.

The deadline for applying for the Innovation Award is November 8, 2021. The next edition of AlgaEurope 2021 will be held online over four days from December 7-10.
