A new €73 million RAS project will produce sole (Solea senegalensis) in the North of Spain. In the first phase of the project, Sea Eight will build a grow-out facility with a production capacity of 440 tons. In a second phase, a hatchery and other grow-out units will be built with a total production capacity of 2,600 tons of sole per year.

SEA Eight is a Spanish company that produces sole at two farms in Portugal and another in Spain with a current capacity of 1,000 tons per year.
