Kasper Janssen is the new R&D director for the Salmonids business unit and Robbert Blonk is the new managing director of the business unit.

Hendrix Genetics appoints Kasper Janssen as R&D director for its business unit Salmonids.

In this role, Kasper will oversee the overall activities of the R&D department and nucleus operations for salmon and trout, with a primary focus on ensuring the successful development, implementation, and management of the breeding program for all genetic lines.

“Kasper brings a wealth of experience and expertise, and we are confident that his leadership will be instrumental in driving forward the innovative work of the R&D team in BU Salmonids," the company said.

As part of this leadership transition, Robbert Blonk will step down from his role as director for R&D of both BU Salmonids and BU Shrimp. Robbert will now dedicate his full attention to his role as managing director of BU Salmonids, further strengthening his focus on the continued growth and success of the business unit.
