Cooke Aquaculture is looking for a freshwater operative to join its Ardtaraig hatchery.

The candidate will assist the team in building strong key relationships and ensuring a safe working environment for all. The candidate will be shown all aspects of freshwater production and will be required to carry out all aspects of day-to-day husbandry throughout the freshwater cycle while maintaining the site’s high standards of hygiene and biosecurity.

Requirements:

• Active, self-motivated, mature-minded individuals with excellent team working and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and a technical aptitude would be advantageous.
• Possession of a full current driving license is essential.
