International liquid handling and pump specialist PG Flow Solutions appointed Roy Rødningen as its new managing director. He succeeds Steve Paulsen. Roy Rødningen has more than 30 years of management experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction and other industrial activities.

Rødningen joins PG Flow Solutions from a role as managing director of steel construction supplier PCS Stokke Stål. Prior to this, he held managing director roles at naval architect and marine engineering company Brevik Engineering and Fenner Mandals which is a producer of lay-flat hose with export all over the world. He has also spent a decade with international drilling technology supplier Aker MH/MH Wirth (now HMH) when it was part of oil services group Aker Solutions. Rødningen has also spent time in managerial positions at NOV and Hydralift.

“Roy has a broad industry experience and solid know-how from leading and developing companies with engineering, manufacturing and construction at the core of their business. This is PG Flow Solutions in a nutshell. We are delighted that Roy has joined the company as managing director,” said Stig Olav Bjørkedal, chairman of PG Flow Solutions’ board of directors

Rødningen succeeds former CEO Steve Paulsen, who headed up PG Flow Solutions for 6.5 years, first as COO and then as CEO from 2018 onwards.

“Steve played a key role in successfully transforming PG Flow Solutions from being a supplier primarily to the marine and offshore industries, to also becoming a trusted supplier of innovative pump and liquid handling solutions to the aquaculture industry and land-based industries such as wastewater. We are grateful for his excellent contribution over many years,” said Stig Olav Bjørkedal.
